Acrylic Painting Technical 1/2 Day Class CLASS IS FULL

Unlock your creativity and master the art of painting with my half-day Technical Skill class! Join me at my studio on Saturday, April 13th from 9:30 a.m. to noon and learn different techniques to paint mist, trees, and water reflections. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class is for you! Supplies, drinks and snacks are provided, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm. Please note: You will not leave with a finished painting but you will leave with several painting "studies".
Northern Ontario - Acrylic Painting CLASS IS FULL
DATE: Wednesday April 24th 10:00-4:00pm
COST: $120
Get ready for summer with this beautiful Northern Ontario scene. Learn how to create realistic trees with my favourite fan brush and the rocks with various palette knives and stain. The water reflections will complete this painting as you learn how to capture the different colours and light in the water. This class is good for any skill level, including beginners. No drawing skills required.
Tobermory Lighthouse - Acrylic Painting CLASS IS FULL!
DATE: Saturday June 8th 10:00-4:00pm
COST: $120
Who doesn't love a lighthouse? In this fun painting we will using my reference photo from a trip to Tobermory last summer. Learn how to get those crisp, straight lines in a painting and use various palette knives to create the rocks. Everyone leaves with a beautiful painting of and this class is great for any skill level. No drawing skills required - I teach you a trick for that!
Ink and Watercolour Class
CLASS IS FULL!
Samples of different types of ink and watercolour sketches.
DATE: Tuesday June 25th 10:00-3:00pm
COST: $80
In this class we will start by learning basic watercolour techniques and then move on to some ink and watercolour sketches. Some will take 15 minutes, others will take a bit longer depending on how much detail you want to include. Everyone will receive a multi-media book that you can take home to continue with your sketching. No drawing skills required as we will be using templates. We will complete 3 projects and many practice sheets. A great class for learning something completely new in a non-threatening, very supportive environment. A good class to take before heading out on vacation as you an take your sketch book with you and capture those favourite places with art! This class is good for any skill level.
* Classes include ALL supplies needed to complete the paintings/cards. Beverages and snacks will be provided, please bring your own lunch. Classes are held at Janet Liesemer's studio unless otherwise specified. The studio is located at 838 Albert Street, Ayton.
